The VAPN
Pirep system is an
automated pirep filing system that automatically starts when your flight
starts. While in flight it keeps track of all information needed. At
the end of your flight, a window pops up and all you do is enter the departure
airport, arrival airport, number of passenger and amount of cargo, click submit
and all information is automatically recorded on the roster page.

note: You must have FSUIPC (3.4 or later) installed into your modules
folder of FS2004
to
be able to run the VAPN utility properly. Run you FS2004, open the modules
menu and
check if you have it. If not, you can download it free from this link:
http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html
select FSUIPC 3.80 for FS2004.
Instructions
For The VAPN Automatic Pirep System
1.
Download vapn.zip
2.
Execute exe file
3.
Open Flight
Simulator and you will see at the top of the screen
VAPN
4.
Click on VAPN
and
this window will open
5.
Click on tracking
properties, and this window will appear
6.
Choose the
following set up:
Start/Stop Tracking = Your choice,
whatever you are comfortable with
Flight Track Parameters = Again your
choice
Default Pirep Information = Pilot ID
(Your
VIFC # ie:
VIFC001)
Password = Your password when you
registered with the automatic system
, do not press enter, go to next field with mouse cursor.
Pirep Submission URL = Enter this URL
http://www.flyvifc.org/apu/pirep_submit.php

That’s it. Whatever your
start choice was it will automatically start.
You will see a message across the top of your screen letting you know
that the tracking system has started. At
the end of your flight the pirep form will come up and all you have to do is
fill in the couple of empty blocks and click
submit. Before your
flight, be sure to note your departure airport and your arrival airport to fill
them in the Pirep form.
If you wish to uninstall
VAPN, close your FS, go
to FS9 main folder with explorer, and click on the icon to uninstall
VAPN.
